OUR USE OF PERSONAL AND NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION
GCC’s webpage collects both voluntary and involuntary information from its users. Voluntary information is provided by a user when they register for events, fill out forms, or generally write in their own name and contact information on the site. Involuntary information is provided by a user’s computer automatically every time the site is visited. Both forms of information are used by GCC solely for the purpose of enhancing our experiences with our congregation and the public. GCC will not sell, rent, or disclose any personal information to persons outside the organization and those within GCC not authorized to view such data.
OUR USE OF INTERNET COOKIES
GCC may use electronic “cookies” in the browser files of a user’s computer. Cookies are pieces of information that a website transfers to an individual’s computer hard drive for record keeping purposes, and to allow GCC staff to analyze visitors’ use of our sites and improve their experience. We do not use
cookies to obtain personal information about users after they leave the GCC website. If you do not wish to accept the use of cookies, you may adjust the cookies settings in your internet browser.
OUR USE OF GOOGLE ANALYTICS

Photo and Video Disclosure Policy
Grace Community Church (GCC) recognizes the importance and value of using photography, videography, and other forms of media as creative ways to connect the Gospel to a wide variety of communities. We use
photos and videos to tell stories of God’s grace for His people, while providing an in-depth look at the happenings on our church’s campus. Our creative media captures the authentic experience at GCC and provides visitors and onlookers a glimpse of what to expect when they attend a GCC Event.
GCC Events include, but are not limited to, Sunday services, ministry activities, classes, Grace Groups, Upward Basketball games, community outreach and mission opportunities, and other programs created by or in association with GCC. By participating in any of these events, or any event organized in conjunction with GCC and/or on GCC’s campus, you understand and consent to the following (i) You may be photographed, videotaped, or otherwise recorded by designated GCC staff or hired contractors; (ii) you grant permission to GCC to use any recordings captured at these events containing your image, likeness, voice, or statements, for publicity and promotional purposes, without compensation, credit, or other consideration to you; (iii) you agree to release, hold harmless and indemnify GCC from any and all liabilities and claims involving the use of your image, likeness, voice or statements.
A person attending a GCC event, including Sunday services, who does not wish to have their image recorded, should make their intent known by filling out a “Photo & Video Opt Out Form,” which can be obtained from GCC staff or in GCC’s main office. A photograph of the individual requesting to be excluded from GCC’s recordings must be included in the “Photo & Video Opt Out Form” for identification purposes. Any communications and photos provided will be held by GCC in confidence and shall not be distributed.
Photos and videos captured by GCC are produced by and for GCC for the sole purpose of promoting our ministries and programming. This includes, but is not limited to, the printing of bulletins, posters, brochures, creative videos, photographs, and other digital media used on various online sites (e.g., GCC’s website, Facebook, Instagram, etc.). No captured material will be used by GCC for the intention of defaming individuals, soliciting business, falsely advertising, deliberately spreading false information, or otherwise illegal and other unintended uses not listed here. No person or organization not affiliated with GCC may use, copy, alter, or modify GCC’s photographs, graphics, videos, or other similar reproductions or recordings without the express written permission from an authorized GCC designee. No individual will be identified alongside any personal identifying information, including any part of their name, without prior written approval and consent. The parents or legal guardians of children under the age of 18 years must provide consent to GCC to use any identifying information.
If you see media on GCC’s website or official social media pages that includes you or your child and would like it removed, please contact the Director of Operations at 530-343-5528. Please note we cannot remove your image from video or live stream messages. Please understand that GCC has no control over the recording, use, and posting of images and other media by individuals not affiliated with GCC staff.
