Small Groups
We Are Better Together
We're better together.
Faith grows the same way friendship does: slowly, in person, with people who know your name. Groups are where that happens here.
Sunday gathers us. Groups know us.
Sunday morning is worth showing up for. But rows of chairs facing forward can only take you so far. You can sit in one for a year and still leave every week as a stranger.
Change tends to happen in a circle instead. A living room. A table. A handful of people who notice when you're missing and ask how you're actually doing. That's all a group is. Not a class you pass, not a club you have to qualify for. A few people, an open Bible, and enough time together for honesty to show up.
Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.
Three ways to belong.
Groups at Grace come in three shapes. Start wherever you're comfortable. Most people move inward over time, and that's exactly how it's designed.
Rooted Experience
Ten weeks on campus that reset how you see God, yourself, and the church. We'd love every person at Grace to go through it once.
Grace Groups
Bible studies, life-stage groups, and hobby-and-interest groups that run three times a year. The easiest place to bring a friend.
Weekly Bible Studies
Men's and women's studies and prayer gatherings that meet every week, year-round. No sign-up, no ten-week commitment.
Our bigger rooms exist to get you into smaller ones. Wherever you walk in, we're aiming to help you end up somewhere you're truly known.
Rooted
Rooted is ten weeks that tend to change how people see God, themselves, and the church. You'll work through Scripture together, learn to pray honestly, tell your own story out loud, and serve alongside the people sitting next to you.
Who's it for? Everyone. Thirty years in or still deciding what you believe, Rooted works. Most people finish with a few friendships that outlast the ten weeks by a long shot.
Tuesdays, 6:00 PM | 10 weeks | On campus
Grace Groups
Grace Groups are where ten weeks turns into a habit. Some are straight Bible study. Some are built around a season of life. Some are built around something you already love doing, and the conversation happens over dinner or halfway up a trail.
In every one of them you'll pray for each other, show up for each other, and do actual life together. They're also the easiest room in this church to bring a friend who'd never walk into a Sunday service.
10 weeks | Three trimesters a year | Homes & around town
Weekly Bible Studies
Not ready to commit to a ten-week trimester? Start here instead. These are our year-round studies that meet every week: men's and women's Bible studies, prayer gatherings, and a few others. No trimester, no sign-up, nothing to catch up on if you miss a week.
Come once and see what you think. We'd love these rooms to work like a front porch. You meet a few people here, and before long you're joining one of them in something smaller.
Weekly | Year-round | No registration

Rooted and Grace Groups launch on set dates, so you always know what you're stepping into. Here's what's coming up.
Weekly Bible Studies meet year-round. If you'd rather not wait, start there.
The questions everybody asks.
I don't know anybody. +
Almost nobody does the first time. That's the entire point of the room. Every group starts with people who arrived alone, and we'd rather you show up not knowing a soul than wait around for a friend to come with you.
I'm not sure what I believe yet. +
Then you're in good company, and you're welcome exactly as you are. A group is one of the better places to work that out, because you can ask the honest question out loud instead of sitting on it. Nobody's going to put you on the spot or expect you to have answers.
What if I can't make it every week? +
Come when you can. Life happens, and a missed week doesn't put you behind. If your schedule is genuinely unpredictable right now, a Weekly Bible Study is probably the better fit.
What about childcare? +
Childcare is provided for Rooted, so parents of little ones can be all-in for the full ten weeks. Most Grace Groups and Weekly Bible Studies don't include childcare, though a few family-oriented groups arrange their own. If that's what you need, reach out and we'll help you find a group that fits.
Looking for a group mid-trimester?
No problem at all. Tell us a little about the season you're in and we'll help you find people. There's no wrong time to start.
