Care at Grace
Hope, support, and healing through the love and care of Jesus.
Care is not just what we do.
It is part of who we are.
Hope, support, and healing through the love and care of Jesus.
At Grace, we know life can be heavy. Every person and family walks through seasons of stress, loss, questions, hurt, or change—and no one should have to face those moments alone. We care because Jesus cares, and we want our church to be a place where people feel seen, supported, and reminded of God’s presence in the middle of real life.
Our Christ-centered approach to care means we don’t just offer help—we walk with people in love, prayer, encouragement, biblical truth, and community, trusting that Jesus brings hope, healing, and strength for every season.

Benevolence Assistance
Need tangible short-term emergency assistance?
Grace can provide assistance to people in crisis or transition when they’ve exhausted all other possibilities of help from family, friends, and social service providers. Grace staff will facilitate the quickest possible solution for people facing an emergency.
No cash gifts are provided. Instead, Grace will disburse funds directly to recognized businesses on behalf of the person needing assistance. Note: Due to the soaring cost of rent in Chico, it is highly unlikely that we can assist with rent payments.
Please note that assistance will not be available immediately, as all requests must go through a review process before receiving final approval.
How to Receive Assistance
Please complete a confidential Benevolence Request form, and one of our Benevolence Team members will be in touch with you within one week.
