Baptism
Declare Your Faith Today
Celebrate Baptism
Baptism is a public step of faith and a powerful way to celebrate the new life Jesus has given you.
It doesn’t save you, but it does tell the story that your life now belongs to Him.
At Grace, we believe baptism is a meaningful next step for anyone who has decided to follow Jesus.
Baptism
FAQ
What does baptism symbolize?
Baptism symbolizes placing your faith in Jesus and being welcomed into the family of God. It is a public celebration of the life-changing reconciliation we have with God through Christ.
Who should be baptized?
Everyone who has placed their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior should be baptized. While baptism does not save us, it is an act of obedience that publicly expresses our faith in Him.
How does baptism take place Grace?
At Grace, we baptize by immersion, following the example of Jesus. Baptism is a public expression of the inward change God has made in a person’s life, symbolizing the old life gone and new life in Christ. We celebrate baptisms during select Sunday services throughout the year and also offer individual baptisms.
Do you offer infant christening?
We do not practice infant baptism or christening. Because baptism is a personal response of faith in Jesus, we believe it is for those who are able to make that decision for themselves.
What about baby or child dedications?
Yes. During special Sunday services, we invite parents to publicly commit to raising their children in a Christ-centered home. These moments are called baby or child dedications.
Watch our events page for upcoming dedication services.
